[ROOT] HACK: ROOT on iPAQ handheld...

Hi Rooters,

I've managed to port ROOT to the Intel StrongARM CPU running Linux
and X11. The actual device is a Compaq iPAQ (see http://www.handhelds.org/)
with 32MB of flash ROM and 32MB of RAM. Since this CPU does not have an
FPU, the FPU is emulated in software, the performance is not fantastic.
But you can access files remotely over ethernet (wireless lan) and display
them locally or submit jobs to PROOF and view the results. For my fellow
geeks, the binary can be downloaded from the standard location:
   http://root.cern.ch/root/Version300.html

Cheers, Fons.
