The static initialisation shared library sounds a nice method, if a little heavyweight. It could be good for collaboration work, given that it's nice to have a consistent histogram look and feel between publications and linking/running in rootlogon.C is an easy way to apply it. Thanks to Matt for the suggestion, and to Philippe for pointing out the built-in "Pub" style. I feel that a rethink on the default grey canvas colour might be in order, given how many gripes I've heard about it and that not everyone wants to write their own style library :-) But it's up to the developers at the end of the day. Anyway, I think I've got enought to work with, now --- thanks! Andy -- Andy Buckley, HEP Group, Cavendish Lab, Cambridge http://www.insectnation.org
