Hi Fons,

do you expect any problems on new architectures? It builds almost out
of the box on my powerbook (ppc32) - I just had to change
    chip=`uname -m | tr '[A-Z]' '[a-z]'`
in configure (uname -p is not supported in uname (coreutils) 5.2.1)
and
ppc_linux       gcc       yes     for PPC Linux egcs and glibc
in the ARCHS file.
