If you're using the `XFree86' GL libraries, then version 4.0.4 works fine for me. OS: Debian GNU/Linux unstable (sid) XFree86: 4.3.0 (dfsg 1) GL: xlibmesa-gl-dev 4.3.0, nvidia-glx-dev 1.0.6629 GL kept SIGSEGV on me some time ago, but that was due to an incomplete build (my mistake).
