If you install ATI or NVidia accelerated drivers they come with their own libGL.so that is installed over the Mesa one in the same /usr/lib location. The includes are not overwritten so they still say 4.0.4 (on RH 9). Doing a strings on the NVidia libGL.so I see references to "NVIDIA", but are there any references we can find in the bad MesaGL lib to distinguish them? Cheers, Fons.
