If fact to be in time with CERNLIB for Windows I left ROOT team and has been working with CERNLIB for the last three months. (One can find it on ASIS and on NICE as well). But it is with Digital Visual Fortran nowadays (since only Digital Visual Fortran is compatible with MSVC v.5.0). Anyway I think the next release of ROOT could be done with MSVC v.5.0.
