cant place Canvas

	Hi Otto:

it is a matter of configuring the window manager you are running.
See ROOTTALK digest for 1997 and search for GOTRA. 
If I remember correctly, at some point Yuri Gotra posted a solution
of similar (if not exactly the same) problem.
