Hi Rooters, I registered in this list to get the announces of new releases, and as you guess my mailing box is overcrowded with tons of messages from the Root community. They are all probably very useful and interesting, but personnally I just need the releases announces. My question is that one, which I have already submitted to numerous other HEP groups, since the whole HEP community seems to focus uniquely on mailing lists : Why not to create newgroups ? Isn't it more appropriate for this kind of discussions ? At least, we could have several mailing lists, so to separate "releases announces" from "bug report" and "I need help" messages.
