Hello rooters, I have a suggestion and would like to see if it also seems reasonable to you: - I'm running ROOT in embedded mode where main provided by the reconstruction framework also handles the terminal input - I need to run the executable in batch as well as in interactive mode; - with MAIN handling the terminal input it is pretty cumbersome to pass `- b' option to ROOT to switch off the initialization of ROOT's GUI factory - it would be quite useful in addition to `-b' command line option to have an environmental variable (say ROOTBATCH or whatever) which, if defined, would disable initialization of the GUI factory Any opinions ? - regards, pasha
