This means ROOT/CINT can not find MAKEINFO file under
         %ROOTSYS%\cint

Could you check whether this file is really there. It should.
If not just poick it from the original ROOT destribution kit.

The last thing let me think the brand new W98 is confused with a
"mixed" slashes syntax "..\..\root200v13"\cint/platform/ within file
names. If it is soo ALL ROOT user should realize this problem
switching from W95 to W98.

So my question is does anybody on RootTalk found the same problem
under W98 ?

So far there was no problem with W95 and NT's.
