Funny thing, I'm just working on getting my defaults set up for that right now. You can set the box size by calling gStyle->SetStatH() and gStyle->SetStatW() and then ROOT will pick an appropriate font to fill the size you have selected. You don't get to control the font size directly, but with a little experimentation you can find the size you like and all of your boxes end up being the same size too. And while I'm posting, is there a way to set the precision of the numbers reported there? There was a query about that last October and I think I remember a reply, but I sure can't find the reply in the roottalk archives... Regards, Stephen On Tue, 2 Feb 1999, S.J.M.
