  Can you download the file with Netscape , then rename it as pointed above and
  then run WinZip. (For WinZip it is essential to see the "tail" with "*.tar.gz")
              or 
  try Microsoft Internet Explorer right away.
  I did check this file again and found it is still in a good shape.
