Hello Rene, thank you for the prompt reaction. I checked the canges but while creating the canvas first I got just the lower half of the page in my postscript file even on the first page. In the resulting postscript file the plots which can be seen are the ones which were on the lower half of the canvas. But the aspect ratio of these plots is the one you would expect on a portrait page.
