Compiling and linking
The SNiFF+ programming environment is integrated with the Taligent build tools; you do not need to compile and link (build) projects in a UNIX shell. To build your current project from within SNiFF+:
- Choose Make Project from the Make menu.
If you want to compile and link projects in a UNIX shell, you can use either the Shell Window in SNiFF+ or a regular AIX shell window.
CAUTION 
The build tools don't test to see if your component, application, or library has the same name as the one used by the system. The build process automatically overwrites the Taligent file with yours if you have a duplicate name. To find the names Taligent uses, look at the files in the $TaligentSharedLibs directory.
