Guide to Taligent Tools for AIX

Taligent Tools for AIX is a reference guide to the AIX" tools you use when building applications for the CommonPoint application system. Most of these tools were developed or modified specifically for building the CommonPoint application system.

This guide has two parts:

Part 1, "A Quick Start," provides a brief overview of the tools and tasks you use when building Taligent applications.

Part 2, "Taligent Tools," describes the Taligent" tools in detail and provides information about how to use them collectively and individually.

NOTE This guide assumes that you are running the C shell (csh), which is the standard shell used for the Taligent build environment. If you intend to use a different UNIX shell, refer to the documentation appropriate for that shell.
