  • 80 messages to create a canvas.
  • CERN to FNAL : 130 ms
  • SLAC to FNAL : 64 ms
  • 1-2 minutes to start an X-Server Compared to 1 sec. In batch mode (root –b)
• Sending fewer commands will reduce the overall speed.
