Hi Dimitri,
you can use xv for this task:

- in the grab dialog set delay to 10 sec
- choose AutoGrab
- in the next 10 seconds choose the context menu you wish to grab and
keep the mouse
  pointer in it

(certainly you can choose longer delay times if you wish)

I used this procedure for exactly that purpose several times.
