Dear colleagues,

that is nice idea to compile the manual. 

Among other i think the best format choice is LaTeX or something like
that. 

The reasons:

-- LaTeX format is completely independent of the hardware or software
   platform;

-- LaTeX format is independent of the supplier;

-- at the same time LaTeX text might be prepared in WYSIWYG fashion with
   'lyx'.
