Hi, One more thing: there are well-documented problems with PDF not really being P (portable). There have been many cases discussed in the RISKS forum (usenet news group: comp.risks) of PDF files which, depending on the platform, did not display all the characters (and also did not display an error). I have a personal experience of this when dealing with a particular journal that insists on running LaTeX under windows, generating PDF files, and then using a PDF->PS converter to generate postscript. The PDF files did not display critical math symbols, and the PS file was only printable/viewable after running it thru the "fixps" program. PDF is a poor choice unless everyone is running Windows. JT ps: see e.g. http://www.infowar.com/iwftp/risks/risks-20/20_43.txt http://www.infowar.com/iwftp/risks/risks-20/20_45.txt for sample discussions in comp.risks
