Hi Anton,
As reported at the Root workshop, Root 2.23/12 has been ported
to LynxOS (Thanks Vincent Boudry for providing a test system).
A makefile is available in the standard distribution to install under
Lynx.
Note that the makefile is expecting the GNU environment for gmake, cp
and a few other basic utilities.

We did not succeeded creating shared libs. Shared libs can be created,
but one has to specify physical addresses where to map each shared lib.
This can only be done by the person who has full control on the system.

The full Root system is running on Lynx, graphics, CINT, tutorials
and all the tests.
