Hi Steve,
Could you clarify what you mean by groot ? I am aware of the
g2root program converting Geant3 geometry files to Root objects
and of a utility gh2root converting a Geant3 hits/detector
structures into a set of hits/detector classes.
g2root is part of the standard Makefiles distributed
with the Root source. Are you using this Makefile ?
Also specify which version and system you are using.
