h2root problem :loading shared libraries

Hi,

I've installed root some time ago now, and everything looks to be ok. Yet
I tried to use h2root, which doesn't work, and gives this message :

h2root: error in loading shared libraries
libstdc++.so.2.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

I've never had such a problem on other computers I installed root on
(This one is a linux PC with redhat 5.1 and egcs 1.1.1 cern patched).
Would anybody know what's happening ?
