[ROOT] TTree::Draw to existing histogram when gDirectory = 0

Hi -

Can I TTree::Draw to an existing histogram when i only have a pointer
to the histo?  

In my application, I keep the global directory turned off to avoid
ownership problems between my containers and the main directory.
When I do this, the usual ">> name" mechanism SEGVIOs.
