Hi Masa, I looked in more detail at the STL implementation provided by CINT in ROOT 2.24.05 and I noticed several discrepancies between the current implementation and the STL sectrion of the Standard C++ Library. I wonder if it wouldn't be less work for you, and at the same time more helpful for ROOT/CINT users, if CINT were to use/incorporate the current SGI STL implementation, and to subsequently track this implementation. As you are probably aware, the SGI STL implementation has been, and in many cases still is, used by many, if not most, Standad C++ library vendors as the defacto reference implementaion for the "STL" section of the Standard C++ Library. Would this proposal be possible to consider? It would sure be nice for us generic programmers :-) Regards, Matt -- Matthew D.
