Hi Rene, I am very grateful for the help you provided. I have tried out your solution, it works! Btw. the last one did not, it would bomb out when calling SetPolyLine with an illegal instruction error, which I noticed minutes after I answered your last mail. I am really impressed how much help you root developers are offering to the newcomers. The fact that one was not allowed to derive from a compiled class was something totally unknown to me. A good thing to do would be to add more warnings into CINT when one tries to do unimplemented things. I spent quite some time because I thought I was just plain stupid. The problem is normally that if things go wrong its your own fault and not that of the interpreter/compiler.
