[ROOT] cdir //lun in root?

Today's problem:

Let's say that I have 4 .root files.  Each one contains 100 histograms,
each using the same numbering system.  After I load all four files, how
can I tell root that I want 

h101 from one.root

rather than

h101 from three.root
??

This novice once again appreciates any answers
