Hi Patrick, the file types list is an input parameter in the TGFileInfo structure to specify the list of acceptable extensions. Then on return from, e.g. TGFileDialog the fFileName field is set. To find the used extension you can compare the extension of the file name with the list of extensions. Cheers, Fons.
