Hi Claire, make sure there exists a file $ROOTSYS/system.rootrc or $SYSTEM/.rootrc or $HOME/.rootrc or ./.rootrc. Next make sure that this file contains the line: Rint.Logon: rootlogon.C if that is the case rootlogon.C will be executed on startup of root. Note: rootlogon.C must exist in the directory where you start root. If you want only a global rootlogon.C change $HOME/.rootrc to: Rint.Logon: $(HOME)/rootlogon.C Cheers, Fons.
