Hi Greg,

  sorry for the late response.

THe window decoration for transient windows is determined by the Window
manager you use. ROOT only tells the X system that the window is a dialog
(i.e. transient window) via the call XSetTransientForHint(). The window
manager is than free to do what it want with this "hint".
