Hi Glen,

  you beat me to it. I've just installed RH 7.0 on a new machine and I
am now porting ROOT to glibc 2.2 and g++ 2.96. Some structs in glibc were
changed which requires some work to port. I hope to have it ready later
today. I'll let you know.
