[ROOT] slow when dealing with large ntuple

Hi Rooters,

I am now dealing with slow reactions related to a very big ntuple.

I draw a 1D histogram from a big ntuple with some certain cuts.
It takes sometime. When it is finished, if I want to for example,
add a text, the reaction is always very slow.

My naive thougt is the canvas should only contain a small histogram, so
the reaction should be the same regardless if the histogram is from a
large ntuple or a small ntuple. But if I save this canvas and quit and
enter root and load this cancvs again, it is still very slow.

It seems the canvas still carry all those ntuple informtion but now I
only care this canvas. I believe I can deal with this by just saving
the histogram, not the canvas. Still I want to know if there is other
way out.

Thanks,
Hank
