Hi,
Before I re-invent the wheel I thought I'd ask to see if anyone on this
list
has been doing something similar.
1) Aligning spectra. Given 2 spectra taken with the same (or similar)
detectors perform a gain shift alignment. I have c codes for this
in which I perform a least squares fit of the difference between
one of the spectra (used as a reference) and the other spectrum with
a gain shift applied ( Shifted_spec[x] = spec[a+bx]). Does anyone
have an elegant solution.
2) Digital Signal Processing/Filtering Noise.
I have data sampled using a flash adc of a pre-amp signal from
a Ge detector which is very noisy. Does any one have a "magic" filter
?
Also, the shape of the pulses in neighbouring segments of the
detector
can be correlated to the wave-form of the signal. Does any-one have
experience in disentangling such correlated pulse-shapes ?
Many thanks,
Karl Hauschild
