Root version 3.00/01 source and binary tar files are now available. The final version 3.00 will include a full support for STL in the new I/O scheme and a symmetric behaviour between split and non-split mode for the Trees. It is our intention to discontinue the support for the old HP-UX CC compiler. The Makefile will still be provided but not the binary file. With this version, we have added support for RedHat 7.0 and Solaris 6 with CC5.0. As soon as we have access to a Solaris 8 machine, we will also support the corresponding binaries.
