Hello 

Recently we did a small example to evaluate the different kind of ROOT I/O
event model combination for G4

  4 types of ROOT I/O were evaluated:

    TTree I/O   + "small "hit" objects"
    TTree I/O   + "TTable of the hit structure"
    Regular I/O + "small "hit" objects"
    Regular I/O +  "TTable of the hit structure"


 No probem like that you are speaking about has been discovered yet.
