Dear ROOTers, I have just installed ROOT 3.00.06 (on Alpha OSF /Tru64 V5.0), but it won't run: ifkax1> root 71389:/users/local/root/pro/bin/root: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: object libXpm.so from liblist in /users/local/root/pro/bin/root has version "4.10", which does not match the found object: /usr/lib/libXpm.so (with version "4.11") I would expect that an executable should run with a _newer_ version of the library - or am I wrong ? Is this a problem within root or in the loader ?
