[ROOT] Create my own class without compilation

Hi ROOTers, 

Is there any way I can define my own class and use it with ROOT
interpreter without compiling using makefile?

For example, I have Event.h and Event.cxx for myevent class  definition.
Can I use that class without compiling? 
	ROOT> .L  Event.cxx does not work...
