Hi Andreas, it turns out to be simple to reproduce. The problem happens when the text goes off the edge of the screen. I see where it happens in the code but I do not understand yet why. Also it only happens when calling explicitely ProcessEvents(), like in $ROOTSYS/tutorials/hsimple.C. Not once the fill loop is finished. I'll work on it. Cheers, Fons.
