No, seriously, I did not take into account that I turned on the
option for shadow passwords in the Module.mk of rootd directory.
I followed the ''intructions'' I found in a message of the mailing list.
So if I compile everything 'as is', then I uncomment the -DR__SHADOWPW
flag,
clean the rootd dir and the executable and issue a make, then it works.
I don't know if this is really a problem (once you know!).
