Hi Nick,

Converting general Zebra files to Root is not possible in an automatic way.
The automatic conversion is possible, however, if a dictionary is
available in the Zebra files. This may be the case
 if you have
    - Hbook/Paw files
    - Geant3 files
    - any Zebra file using the DZDOC dictionary.

You may get some inspiration by looking at , eg:

  http://root.cern.ch/root/gh2root.html

This URL describes an automatic class generator starting from the Geant3
hits files. Note that an automatic conversion is probably not the best
solution. You can take this opportinity to rethink your object model.
