I don't find this test. Valeri, can you point it out? 

In the mean time, I have looked over the TObjectSet/TDataSet classes
and the document you gave and also the TFolder class and Rene's
example (thanks!).  These two indeed seem to do much of the same
things.  

Can someone give a comparison between the two from an end-user
(programmer) point of view.

The particular context in which I am interested is a system where
various reconstruction modules and chains of modules can register
themselves, their various entry points, and their configuration
parameters in such a way that they can be accessed from a GUI
(menus/browser) or at the prompt.
