Actually, I saw a similar behaviour like the one you mention
(under Linux/i386) with earlier versions of root 
(I didn't use TBrowser much with recent versions of root).
After a while, I looks like the 'active point' moves even
further down... Unfortunately, I don't remember at the
moment how to reproduce this..
