Dear all, I am quite a novice in using ROOT, hence, a lot of different problems occured when I started to use this analysis tool. Most of them I could solve in reading the documentation (which is quite good), scanning through the tutorials (quite impressive) and refering to the roottalk quetions (very helpful). One of the problems I couldn't get rid of is the following: When I am generating a TH2F (can be any histogram), I would like to have the title (including the title-box) of the histogram automatically centered. I couldn't find any method in the histogram class to perform this. Therefore I created my own "histogram" class derived from the usual one, just placing a new Box in the center manually using the defined histogram title. In principle it should be possible to do this directly using the root histogram class,... may be someone knows how! thanks a lot Markus -- \|||/ (o o) +-----------------oOO--(_)--OOo-------------------------+ |Markus Brugger Markus Brugger@cern ch | +-------------------------------------------------------| |EP Division | |CERN office: +41/22/767-6556 | |CH-1211 Geneve 23 fax: +41/22/767-9080 | |Switzerland private: +33/450424415 | +-------------------------------------------------------+
