[ROOT] Taking slices of a Histogram

Hi rooters,

I am working on a piece of software that produces a contour plot (TH2F
Histogram) and then interactively produces X and Y slices (or projections) in
two seperate pads. I obtained the code from the tutorials, the one where you run
hsimple.C, then type

hpxpy.Draw();
c1.AddExec("ex2",".x exec2.C");

This has been working fine and I have produced almost all the code I need, but
now I am trying to transfer my code across to good old Windows NT (I've been
using Solaris) and surprise surprise it doesn't work! And what's more the
tutorial which does the same thing doesn't work either. I have tried it on more
than one NT box and I am wondering if there is a difference with root on NT or
if I have somehow installed the software incorrectly?

Thanks in advance

P.S for a number of reasons I am still using ROOT 2.25/03
