Hello again, I've commented the line fsharedmemory->Update and the program now continues after 2 executions but stops after about 75 executions because it can't recreate the file. I've always recreated the same file and I've never had problems with it. is there a problem with this line: ffile = new TFile(name,"RECREATE"); ffile is TFile* and name is a Char_t [20] which for now contains "run123".
