Hi, The "standard" ROOT binary distribution does not contain (what a shame ;-) the libMySQL.so library. In order to "add" it, take the following steps : 1. install the appropriate MySQL (libraries, includes, ...) 2. get the /root_v....source.tar.gz, unpack it and "cd root" 3. "export ROOTSYS=...", "export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=..." 4. run the attached script (prepared for linuxegcs) "sh make.it" 5. copy the newly created ./libMySQL.so into ${ROOTSYS}/lib Best regards, Jacek. P.S. Of course, you can also recompile the whole ROOT suite in order to get libMySQL.so ... . Jacek.
