Hi, Re-initialising a TMinuit parameter after fixing leads to unexpected results. I think this is because a fixed parameter is released by calling mnfree(1) for the mnparm Member function. This should probably bee mnfree(-k). At the ned of the routine the parameter is fixed agaian, which is probably the standard MINUIT behaviour... One small comment to the same function is that when a parameter has limits it's name is surrounded by quites ('), while this is not done for the parameters without limits. This looks a bit strange in the output, especially because it screws up the columnar make-up of the parameter-list. Best regards, Marco van Leeuwen.
