[ROOT] Nasty problem with h2root

Dear Rene
I'm moving my data analysis from PAW to ROOT (I would like to
check my results obtained with ROOT with those obtained with PAW in
order to convince people in the collaboration that the effort to learn a
new tool is worthwhile).
To this extent I converted my data sample with h2root. For a while
everything looked ok to me: peaks were as expected, but adding selection
criteria peaks disappeared. After carefully checking I found out that
the data in the ROOT ntuples were somehow scrambled. Scratching my head
I went back to the USER manual and found a disturbing sentence (page 26
of version 0.7.2) which reads

'Some HBOOK column-wise ntuples may not be fully converted if the
columns are an array of fixed dimension(e.g. var[6]) or if they are a
 multidimensional array.'

That's exactly what I have in my original data sample, an array of fixed
dimension!!! What do you suggest?

Thanks for your (as usual) kind attention

Ps: just as a reference I attach below the scheme of my ntuples
(the variable which looks scrambled is Wobba)
