Hi Rene,

Thanks for forwarding the mail, I did not notice any problem in our mails,
any way
I do not know where did Yuriy get his information that the Go4 is not alive

1. The Go4 project consists of different packages, part of them are already
being used by more than one experiment within and outside the GSI.
2. The whole Go4 as a framework will be released within the next few months.
3. The last time I updated the Go4 web documentation was a few weeks ago
(Sep. 2001)!
4. Qt-Interface is not the Go4! it is a separate package that has been
adapted and further developed within the Go4
5. I wrote to root talk yesterday and today and I said that if any body is
interested in the Qt interface he should contact me (or Denis).
6. Qt interface is ready for release and will be released within the next
month!

Usually when somebody is interested in the Go4 or the Qt interface he
contacts us and gets these part with some kind of support but if any body
like to reinvent the wheel it is up to him! but please be aware that you
will be faced with some deeper problems concerning the TApplication.

regards
Mohammad
