Dear Root users
I am a new ROOT user. I am using it actually just to make some simple fit
to a straight line. I would like to know how ROOT calculate the errors on
the parameter of the fit. I mean: suppose you want to make the fit to the
straight line:
y=a+bx
ROOT gives you the value of a,b and the error on them. How does ROOT
caclulate these errors??
Thank you in advance,

Maria
