Dear fellow Rooters,

Rene's suggestion to put a dot "." at the end of the top level branch
names doesn't solve the problem, as I indicated at the end of my first
email. 

Browsing through roottalk, however, I found that in April 2000 there was
a thread on exactly the same subject, which was started by  Christian
Holm Christensen: "Re: [ROOT] TTree, TBranch, TClonesArray and names of
Branches". Was there a conclusion to this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
